Had you been thinking about what inspires women? Had you been short of stories which resonates, motivates, educate and can empower you? Then this book is for you. It touches absolutely inspiring stories of 31 women entrepreneurs coming from different walks of life, some with complete out of the box ideas, while others with the idea of addressing the world issues, some with experience and exposure, while others with their unique ideas and just hope, each with their own determined zeal, struggling, fighting social taboo, each of them pushing boundaries to realise their dream in the world often dominated by “Men”…. “Entrepreneurship”. Breaking all the stereotypes that categorises “what women can or can’t do” , this book is a must read.

The author “Diana Kapp” has meticulously jotted down “part biography” and part “how to Business” with powerful introduction of the book. Illustrations by the artist “Bijou Karman” adds to the fun. These are the women, whom you might have heard about or women who rather needs to be heard.

If you are expecting some detailed startup story, probably, this book is not for you. Biographies have been briefly summarised and often leaves it to your imagination, like — how the actual financial struggle of the entrepreneur in real life would had been. This book covers briefly , how these remarkable women chased the funding gaps or rediscovered their growth strategy. The stories are confined to women belonging to one developed geographical region, this doesn’t include the struggles about coming from a developing world, deprived of materials, money or market, deprived of the power to be heard or seen. Nonetheless, you have to agree no matter how less or more privileged, fortunate you are, probably every struggle requires high spirit and courage in all aspect of running a company and this beautiful book pays homage to that.

Author has beautifully summarised the learnings, suggestions and motivations learnt by CEO’s during their journey . This will just not appeal to young girls but also to those, who are not out there yet, but, have huge potential to “make it big”.
