CEO Commentary: Ben Strange, CEO Strada Global

If I asked you to name a few inventions that help fight climate change, what would come to mind? Wind turbines? Solar energy? Great for places that get a lot of sunlight or wind. But what if there was a technology that could unlock an endless source of clean, efficient and renewable energy for everyone, wherever you are in the world? What would you do if you were in charge of taking that technology from concept to prototype?

This is our reality at Strada Global. We believe we have the technology that is quite literally capable of solving the world’s clean energy needs, and over the last year, our team have worked tirelessly to bring our drilling solution from design concept to tested and proven prototype.

I’m incredibly proud to be able to announce that our patented technology is capable of everything we designed it to do. In January, the team undertook the final testing of our first dual circulation water hammer, the last piece of our patented Fluid Hammer Operating System and our product offering for the critical infrastructure and geothermal industries.

We are delighted to say that this testing has been a huge success. Our world-changing technology has now been proven in the field. It is tangible and its potential is backed up by the significant numbers of contract opportunities we have right now.

Many companies will relate to the difficulties, stresses and risks involved in taking an amazing concept through to a successful prototype. We have had challenges such as manufacturing non-conformances and perfecting our operating parameters, however as a result of this we now have a refined product.

It’s hard to express how proud I am of our team and our technology to have achieved such a resounding success with the testing of our prototype. Our dual circulation water hammer now has a proven ability to achieve fantastic hard rock penetration rates and leading drill-bit longevity. This technology is now available for use in geothermal energy applications and critical infrastructure projects, where our Fluid Hammer Operating System (FHOS) is capable of reducing drilling costs by up to 70% in comparison to existing technologies.

I’m beyond excited to announce the launch of our patented FHOS solution, and look forward to not only bringing this earth-saving technology to the marketplace, but educating people about the potential of geothermal energy that can now be unlocked across the world.
