Strafe voting temporarily shuts down

Don’t worry, it will be back soon!

We’re sure some of you have already noticed that Season 23 haven’t started and that the points after the 1st of January 2019 didn’t affect your total score (explained here). Starting from today 7th of January 2018, the voting feature will shut down temporarily.

Why shut down the voting?

In order for us to switch from the old format to the new one, we need to take certain precautions to minimize the risk for bugs and other issues.

When will voting be back?

Voting will be back once we’ve released Strafe Esports 2.7, expected 14th–18th of January. Once we’ve released the new version you’ll need to update the app in order to take part in the new voting game!

What can one expect with the new version?

More info on this will be revealed once the new update goes live.

Season 22 — time span

In a previous Medium post (read), we wrongly informed you, due to an internal communication issue, that Season 22 would continue past the month of December. However it followed the standard format.
