Danger is her business

We look away as if she is a danger. A danger to herself and as that danger is a danger to us, to us all as what she does is disequilibriates us.

That is what perceived danger does.

Once we feel endangered the sometimes subtle sometime not quick|sharp intake of breath, the prep for an emergency. It is not that we don’t always|already know that she is only a danger to herself, we do … know.

But disturbed by her presence by her existence we are disturbed and once disturbed it does not seem psychologically to matter what we know for each and everytime she comes near we react subconsciously the same way every time, the sharp intake of breath. Yes we look away at the same time but that is due to our shame.

We know we are not in danger and wish that our fear would not show are ashamed that our fear of her a danger to herself frightens us and cannot but aid her in being a danger — to herself.

In the face of this we are shamed by our own helplessness, that we have no control of our own over ourselves so that we wish and cannot stop our tuning away and taking a breath.

And that we have no business thinking it is our business to keep her from danger.

Her danger is her business.
