Remember that patch awhile back, the one where your favorite hero was absolutely disgustingly over-buffed and you spent two straight weeks farming MMR? When was that again? 🤔

Ponder no more fellow gamer! From this moment forward, you can now review your fabled history via your new Activity page!

Brand new feels good

Now, some of you out there might be reading this thinking:

Hmm, haven’t I seen this somewhere before..?

Nope! Well, at least you haven’t seen your past activity in anywhere near this much depth and clarity. Several little features are embedded into your new page, allowing for a truly unique look into your past, present, and…well, yeah that’s it! Let’s have a looksie, shall we?

Filter, filter, on the wall..

As has become increasingly true with your new STRATZ pages, filters are absolutely littered across the top of your screen. But whatever shall you do with them all?

I bet you can figure out what most of them do on your own, but there are a few special controls available for you up there. Namely, your Days/Months toggle, and your Show Heroes switch. Toggling between days and months allows you to get a much more zoomed out view of your activity, looking across your months of play instead of your days. Then, switching on Show Heroes allows you to get an overview of your most played heroes by day/month. Combined, these two controls create 4 unique views for you to explore…and here’s a preview of what you might find:

Ohh, so pointy!

You’ll also notice in the graphic above that within the toggle itself, you can see how many days and months you’ve played at least one game of Dota in your illustrious career!

Friday night…let’s check out the bars

Under your filters, you’ll find the familiar view of your overall match count and win rate, complete with the date of your first match to add a reference point for when life truly began. These will update, along with most everything else on the page, when you apply filters.

Yeah, it’s one of those nights

Now onto more juicy parts! Your new Activity page provides several overviews into your behavior and performance. Like a broken mirror, the perspectives are nearly limitless! Are those nightly soirees going as well as you hoped? Your pre-work Dota workouts…are they buffing your MMR? Have you been a little too swole this summer? Nope, that’s impossible.

Regardless of the perspective you choose, you can use your new Hourly, Daily, Yearly, and Patches[ly?] charts to reflect back on the good times, and perhaps even learn a thing or two about when you tend to be at your best.

The cursor knows all

If you want to take a closer look at any piece of information on your charts, just bring that cursor over and give it a hover. Like magic, everything you’ve ever wanted to know will emerge, awakened by your pursuit!

Some people have literally played Dota forever…for everyone else, there’s the “Show All” toggle

If you want to see just how early you began defending your ancient relative to when the earliest beta days arrived, or check out where non-digital distractions temporarily pulled you out of your path to victory, click the Show All button above your Patches chart.

History is but a tapestry of consciousness, woven into memories

Once you scroll down a bit further on your new Activity page, you’ll find your monumental wall of victory! Here, you can review all of the your most dominant and persistent streaks of mayhem, while getting an overview of the action with your win rate, match count, and most played position and hero tags for each year. Hovering over your many glorious days will reveal even more details, revealing your picks and their outcomes.

There are lots of fun ways to gain insights into your history by combining filters and views to review, what to many of us includes, a big chunk of your past decade in competitive gaming. We hope you enjoy it!

But that’s not all folks! Indeed, we have another smaller, but massively powerful update to share with you. Please direct your focus to your Hero Meta page

At last, you control the meta!

All of you should be familiar with STRATZ’s unique access to the meta broken down by hours, days, weeks, months, and patches. However, before today, you were constrained by how many instances of each of those scopes you could explore.

Welp, those days are long gone! Now you have the power to go all the way back to the beginning of Dota, more than 10 years ago, and see how the meta has changed during that entire timespan!

There’s an insane amount of insight that can be achieved using this new superpower. For example, did you know Pudge is the only hero to have been played more than a billion times? Or that some heroes, like Rubick, have literally never achieved an average 50% win rate in a month? And that’s just easy pickings from looking at the past decade; now you can watch how the meta changes every hour, on the hour, for 30 hours straight after a patch is released!

I strongly encourage you to go feast your eyes upon your powered up Hero Meta; there really is a ton of treasure to be found in this expansive dataset.
