Glows & Rows

After a week [or two] away, the STRATZ team is back in action! We’ve got a lot planned for the year ahead, and we also have several things to ship that we were finishing up before the break. Two of those things have just gone live — your new Match > Maps > Movement page, and new Team > Heroes pages! Let’s have a look…

The [Spirit] Bear went over the mountain…

At the top of your new Movement page, you’ll find two large heatmaps waiting for your commands! By default, they’ll show the entire movement pattern of each Radiant hero on the left map, and the Dire heroes on the right map. You can mix and match which heroes you want to review on each map as you please.

Anchored to the bottom of your page, you’ll find your trusty Slider bar, waiting for you to hone in on whatever range of the match that interests you. Your Slider will follow you as you navigate the page.

Pro tip: You can use your cursor to “grab” your Slider bar and then scrub through the match, constraining your view of data to the range you’ve specified. For example, if you only want to see 5 minutes segments at a time, you can adjust the Slider, the scrub it left or right to view any 5 minute segment — and it updates as you move!

There’s a Storm [Spirit] front moving in

Just below your two megamaps, you’ll find a full collection of heatmaps — one for each team and hero. These also respond to your Slider commands, so if you want to see everything, or quickly compare one or more sets of hero positions (e.g. safe lane vs safe lane), this is a great lookout spot!

Let us know on Discord if there are more heatmap-related features that you need to optimize your analyses!

Don’t all our hero win rates look like this?

Next up, your new Team > Heroes pages! These pages are fairly simple, but offer the ability to dig into teams’ hero pools quickly and easily through the use of multiple filters.

By default, you’ll see data from every match the team has played, along with which player was most successful with each hero. To answer more specific questions about a team’s hero selections and performances, we provide filters for specific sets of heroes, players, and positions, as well as the ability to review a single league, or a custom range of time.

Using these filters, you can quickly reflect on things like…

See you next week to unveil another new set of pages!
