Too New!

Everyone has a hero. For some, it’s a family member — someone who invested in their future from the very beginning. For others, it’s a champion athlete or leader, inspiring them to never give up or to be their best selves.

For me, it’s a two-headed dragon named Jakiro that deals stupid amounts of pure damage to the losing team — once I get my scepter, that is. But don’t take my word for it; you can now check out any public players’ top heroes on STRATZ! Here is Cr1t-’s impressive list.

Do you have any Master heroes? Congrats! They’re a little more than halfway to Grandmaster!

Your new Heroes/Dota-Plus page is the latest in a string of releases we’ve begun to deploy, building out your reimagined heroes’ stats. It comes complete with a realistic custom progression chart, showing how far along the Dota Plus road to grandmaster each of your heroes currently is. To avoid cluttering your beautiful progression table with noob-tier gobbledygook, we begin showing heroes once they’ve achieved level 11 and beyond.

Actually, there are just billions of events triggered by low-level Dota Plus tier achievements, so we begin storing them at level 11 to save storage space.

To add more context to your achievements, we’ve included a time stamp for each tier, along with stats regarding how long ago and during what patch you most recently played each hero. As usual, you can use the Page Search at the top of the page to quickly find any hero, or the new subarea navigation to switch between players to compare their heroes’ standings.

Fun Fact: the page search just got a significant performance update!

Last week, the all-nefarious, all-ominous, all-shiny Fantôme teased our Discord members with otherwise unannounced new content that went live on the site. Whether you found it already or not, we have even more news regarding…your new Heroes/Stats page!

Yellow, and green, and gray…oh my!

Your new Heroes Stats include 12 data points for each hero, with 5 filter types and 6 filter-responsive summary statistics at the top of the page. You can easily get a quick sense of your strongest heroes, and filter down to get much more specific insights.

For example, you can check out your top performers in the Off Lane since the start of patch 7.31, specific to any game modes and lobby types, and then use the page search to locate any individual heroes. The summary stats at the top of the page will update to show your total heroes played, match count, win rate, and more to give you a sense of your strength in specific situations. You can even go back in time to look at any patch intervals to reflect on how you performed during different intervals of your Dota career.

Just like on your new Dota Plus page, you can see your Dota Plus level for heroes at or above level 11, and when the last time [and patch] that you played each hero — also specific to your filter settings! Likewise, you’ll find each of your heroes’ most played position along with the percentage of matches you’ve played that position.

This page currently supports data from up to your last 10,000 matches. In the future, we’ll allow logged in users to request data from all remaining matches.

We hope you love the new power these pages offer, but you can be sure that we’re not finished with this section yet! There’s still a lot more we’ll be dishing out, both in the coming weeks, and a bit later on after we’ve introduced you to new content in other areas of the site!

Fun Fact 2: You may have noticed that the site used to occasionally require you to refresh a page to get things loading. This would occur whenever you were browsing the site during an API update. As of this week, you should no longer encounter this issue!
