On August 4, 2023, Michael Ein Chaybeh, CEO of StreamCoin, and G.W. Lee, CSO of StreamCoin, joined a live stream on MeiTalk to share important updates about ongoing developments.

Revamping STRMNFT
Michael started by announcing a new marketplace called STRMNFT Pro. It’s a standalone marketplace for NFTs with support for Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain (BSC) at launch; NFT aggregation will also be available to show assets from other marketplaces, such as OpenSea and Rarible.
STRMNFT Pro will have a complete revamp of STRMNFT, with a refined UI and UX and more web3 functionalities. Users will be able to access the new marketplace using only their wallets. Email and passwords will not be mandatory to sign in.
The launch will be between Q3 and Q4 this year, Michael said. Since STRMNFT Pro will support Ethereum and BSC, users will have more options to store and transfer their NFTs using their wallets. Michael noted that other features would also be available: smart-contract customizations, the ability to list on other marketplaces, and bulk mint support without development tools (100 NFTs at a time), to name a few.
The Lady Ape Club (LAC), one of the top collections on STRMNFT, will be available at the launch of STRMNFT Pro on Ethereum.
TNC Art airdrops to BAYC and MAYC holders
In light of the upcoming migration of LAC NFTs to Ethereum on STRMNFT Pro, a new airdrop for Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) holders will be launched, Michael remarked. Everyone holding a BAYC NFT is eligible to get a Baby Ape NFT for each LAC NFT they own.
Moreover, Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) holders will also have an airdrop: every MAYC NFT owner will be eligible to get a Baby Ape NFT for each LAC NFT they hold.
Stream Chain 2.0 and whitepaper 4.0
Stream Chain 2.0, the upcoming mainnet release announced in late 2022, was also among the discussed topics. Michael revealed some of the technical features of the new blockchain, which is set to be released in the testnet phase in 2024.
Stream Chain 2.0 will be based on Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). It will have compatibility with other EVM-based blockchains through bridges; users will be able to wrap tokens and use them on the new blockchain.
Michael also said that Stream Chain 2.0 will have high Transactions Per Second (TPS). Moreover, MetaMask and Trust Wallet users will be able to import Stream Chain 2.0 to their wallets and use the same private keys to access their assets on the new blockchain.
The whitepaper has also got a major update to reflect the recent developments and future plans for the StreamCoin ecosystem. The whitepaper 4.0 is now available in six languages and accessible from the website.
MeiTalk updates
The MeiTalk service will be temporarily suspended to revamp the UI and UX. The web and application platforms will be inaccessible until further notice. Michael said that although he’s proud of MeiTalk’s technological achievement, the user interface can benefit from a complete redesign.
He also talked about the current features, noting that some need to be changed or updated to unify the experience on MeiTalk. This update was carefully planned while considering the feedback received from users, Michael said in the live stream.
CIRI Coin giveaway
Michael also shared more details regarding the recent partnership with CIRI Coin. All STRM ICO participants are eligible for a giveaway of CIRI Coin. The giveaway amount will be calculated based on the USD purchased amount in the ICO. For each USD worth of STRM, users will get USD worth of CIRI Coin.
Users must set up their Aladdin Pro Wallet with their ICO email to be eligible. The CIRI Coins will have a vesting period of two years, after which 10% will be unlocked every following month.
GSTRM
While reading comments from the live chat, Michael answered some questions on the GSTRM token. He said that the purpose of GSTRM is to increase the utility and support the value of STRM, but this should not be at the expense of STRM itself. There’s still a plan to use GSTRM as gas fees later on Stream Chain 2.0, but StreamCoin is also considering using STRM for gas, at least in the first launch phase of the new mainnet.
