How to Add BSC Network and Import STRM Token on MetaMask?

Let’s begin by learning how to create a MetaMask wallet.

Import STRM Token on MetaMask

MetaMask is a free hot wallet that can be configured across multiple devices to create a wallet that supports NFTs and multiple blockchains.

If you don’t already have a MetaMask wallet, we can assist you in setting one up.

Create a MetaMask Wallet

To get started, you will need to install the MetaMask wallet on your preferred device.

1. Click on Get Started, and it will take you to the next window.
2. You can either import your existing MetaMask wallet using the seed phrase or create a new wallet.
3. To create a new wallet, click Create a Wallet
4. Either click I agree or No Thanks to proceed with wallet creation.
5. Enter a strong password for your MetaMask wallet.
6. Click on Click here to reveal secret words to show your seed phrase and click Next.
7. Confirm your seed phrase by clicking on each word in the order.
8. Press Confirm.

Note: You must keep your seed phrase safe. If you forget it, MetaMask will be unable to recover your wallet and your funds will be lost. Never reveal your seed phrase to anyone or any website.

So now you have successfully created your MetaMask.

Add BSC Network To MetaMask

When you go to the operating MetaMask wallet network, you cannot find Binance Smart Chain in the available network. MetaMask runs on the Ethereum network by default.

You need to manually add the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) into your MetaMask wallet.

1. Open your MetaMask and in the Account drop-down menu, click on Settings

2. Select the Networks option.

Click ‘Network’

3. Click on Add Network. You need to manually add the BSC network to the wallet.

Click ‘Add Network’

Enter BSC Network Details

a) Network Name: Smart Chain

b) New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/

c) Chain ID: 56

d) Currency Symbol: BNB

e) Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com

Note: Make sure you fill in the details with the above-mentioned BSC network information.

4. After entering all the details, click on Add

5. Press Save to save the BSC network.

Successfully Added BSC Network

You have now successfully added the BSC Mainnet also known as “Smart Chain” to your MetaMask.

Import STRM Token To MetaMask

You can add the STRM token to your MetaMask Wallet in a few steps.

1. Click Import Tokens on the homepage.

Click ‘Import Tokens’

2. Add the Token Contract Address.

Enter STRM Contract Address

Note: Refer to the BSC Scan for the STRM contract address.

3. Provide the correct STRM contract address and the Token Symbol and Token of Precision details will be auto-filled.

4. Press Import

Successfully Imported STRM Token

The STRM token has now been successfully added to your MetaMask.
