Stream has the ability to live stream from your desktop as well as almost any other device! Typically we advise people to use OBS (Open Broadcasting System).

HOW TO USE OBS:

Step 1: Download OBS here (it’s free)

Step 2: Use this link to obtain your Secret Key code from Stream (if you are a brand, please contact your support manager)

Step 3: Open OBS and go to settings or preferences, from there a screen (see below) will show up. Under Stream Type select Streaming Services, next select “Show all services.” In the Service tab Select “stream.live” - Now you have to put into your Stream Key which you obtained in step 2.

Select OK — DO NOT select ‘Use Authentication’ and you’re done!

Step 1: Under the ‘Sources’ Box click the + symbol and add whatever you want and as many as you want.

Step 2: + Audio Input (so people can hear you)

Extra Steps: Adjust the size of each screen by clicking on the screen you want in the sources menu, you will see it is highlighted in red. Use the corners to grow or shrink the screen and move it wherever you want.

Step 3: Click start streaming. You can check out your stream online or in the mobile app. (URL: Stre.am/USERNAME) ex. stre.am/kristin)

EXTRA

You can Screencast from your iPhone or iPad if you want. Plug in your phone and launch Quicktime. Next select file → new Movie Recording → drop down arrow next to record button → select your device and BOOM your screen casting is complete.

Gaming: launch your game and screencast, compete with friends, show your face in a corner to give it a personal feel.

Examples: Think Bumble, Tinder, Facebook, Snapchats, candy crush → you will get feedback on anything you do. Get tips and win games.
