Everyone loves the cool, wide-angle footage you can capture from a GoPro, but what many people don’t know is that you can stream that footage to the world in real time. While still saving full-fidelity footage for later editing, you can now let your friends and family join the action as it’s happening.

What you’ll need:

If you have an Android device running Lollipop (5.0) or above, and a GoPro Hero4 camera (including the Black, Silver, and Session), you should be good to go!

How it works:

  1. Use the GoPro App to pair your GoPro to your phone (follow the in-app “Connect Your Camera” instructions).
  2. Download Stream on Google Play, and create an account.
  3. From your WiFi settings, connect to your GoPro’s wireless SSID.
  4. Open Stream, and you’ll be greeted with a GoPro dialog prompt.

    Hit the record button and immediately share your live video to the world.
