Earth Hour is Coming. With WWF, Join Millions and Speak Up for Nature
For this year’s Earth Hour, legendary esports organization Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) will team up with World Wide Fund (WWF) and join WWF’s global campaign Stream For Planet — a charity stream where all donations are allocated for the future of our world.
The climate crisis is the greatest challenge humanity has ever faced, but it’s not too late to turn the tide. Swedish legendary esports team Ninjas in Pyjamas is fully aware of this and has made it their mission to fight the threat of climate change, and now NIP is ready to take the next step as they join the global initiative Stream For Planet — a project where WWF invites individuals and organizations to a charity stream from 13–28 of March 2021.
On the 27th of March, NIP’s CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, VALORANT, and FIFA teams will stream on Twitch for 4 hours each. As many as 19 players in total will together gather the famously strong esports community and urge it to take action to prevent the climate crisis.
All donations from viewers will go to fund projects around the world to build a climate-resilient future for people, nature, and wildlife. The goal is to raise awareness about the rapidly escalating consequences of climate change. Viewers will be able to collect rewards based on how much they donate; for instance, a donation of $100,000 USD is rewarded with a WWF international wildlife adventure, whilst the biggest donation on NIP’s streams will be rewarded with a free visit to any global esports event.

By creating a Streamlabs fundraiser for WWF and hosting a charity stream between now and the end of March or donating via NIP x WWF #StreamForPlanet crowdfund, you’ll be lending a hand helping fund projects around the world to build a climate-resilient future for people, nature, and wildlife.
