Today, we’re going to be going through one of the new features on the Streamlabs mobile streaming app — stream output view. On the main screen in portrait mode, you will find a button in the top left corner that looks like a rectangle.

When you click the button your screen will zoom out and you will black bars on either side. This is not a mistake! This happens because the platforms you stream to only accept streams using a 16:9 aspect ratio. If you’re using landscape mode there’s no problem, but if you’re in portrait mode you will black bars on either side of your screen.

You can use this button to make sure that you’re able to see how the output of your stream will look when using portrait mode and make sure everything is just the way you want it!
