In our desire to help publishers worldwide, we are doubling our efforts to speak more languages. Ana and Antonio will not only make sure that our website, Help Center, tools and services are translated beautifully into Spanish, but they will also support and communicate with all of our StreetLibbers and partners in Latin America and Spain.

This obviously requires an introduction to our tools, system, support team, etc. That’s what we’ll be working on this week, while at the same time getting acquainted and planning for the future of StreetLib in Spanish-speaking countries!

Antonio and Ana first met Antonio Tombolini, our founder and CEO, last June in Madrid, and it was soon clear they’d be a perfect fit for our projects.

Antonio has been devoted to book publishing for more than fifteen years, first at big publishing houses and then as a freelancer, which has granted him solid knowledge of what it means to work with (and for) books. Ana has always worked in the field of editorial design; after studying Fine Arts, she realised that supporting the reading experience with different graphical languages was her real passion.

“Being able to join StreetLib’s ‘Book Salvation Army’ and spread its great work around Spanish-speaking countries is such an exciting step forward.”

This is hopefully the first of many BootCamps with new country managers all over Europe. As a matter of fact, I’ll soon be presenting StreetLib and looking for passionate people to join the adventure and help us expand into many new languages.
As for Ana and Antonio, you’ll learn more about them and all our plans for the Spanish market shortly!
