In the heart of night, the stars ignite,
Pinpricks of light in endless dark.
The moon ascends, a silver arc,
Balancing shadows with its glow bright.
Day breaks, dispelling the velvet shroud,
Sunrise unfurls in hues of gold.
With morning light, new tales are told,
And darkness hides, unseen but proud.
Yet in the noon's relentless glare,
Shadows cling beneath each tree.
A dance of light and dark we see,
Harmony in the heated air.
Through every storm, when skies are gray,
The lightning splits the darkened sky,
A flash of brilliance, then it dies,
Both light and dark in fierce display.
In hearts of men, this truth abides,
The light of kindness, dark of fear.
Each soul must hold both far and near,
For neither part alone can guide.
For every joy, a tear must fall,
Each triumph marks a bitter fight.
In love’s embrace and sorrow’s blight,
We find true balance, holding all.
In every ending, a new start,
In every loss, a chance to gain.
Light and dark, in endless chain,
The rhythm of the human heart.
So let us cherish both, my friend,
The light that guides, the dark that heals.
In contrast, true existence feels,
And balanced, all our journeys blend.
