Here is a recap of last week’s most interesting reads, including brands on social issues, an interview with Apple’s Tim Cook, and the future of tech innovations and its impact on our lives.

Brands do play a big part in our everyday lives, but when mixing social issues with a sales message big brands like Pepsi, Dove and Heineken have seriously fallen flat and failed.
