• The key highlight of the FireStride chat was the unveiling of stSOMM as a new LST (liquid staked token) on Stride’s protocol. Sommelier is an innovative marketplace tailored for both consumers and producers of strategies. Leveraging the unique command capabilities of Cosmos appchains, Somm serves as a hub for investment strategies. It allows users to deposit into vaults or strategies that interact with Ethereum. Strategists on Somm benefit from management fees. Key offerings include “Real Yield USD”, which optimizes stablecoin investments across Ethereum for maximized yield, and “Real Yield ETH” that employs Ethereum LSTs. The SOMM token, a Cosmos entity potentially tradable on Uniswap due to its bridging, heightens its collateral potential. On its imminent debut in Stride, stSOMM holders will have the opportunity to earn rewards and borrow against their assets.
• The other highlight from our weekly FireStride chat is the buzz surrounding the upcoming Cosmoverse 2023. To add an element of excitement, Stride has introduced the Merch Voting Contest.
