Hello Readers,

Let us first take a a deep breathe and appreciate the fact that we made it through the first week of 2021. This year we take Babu Bhaiya more seriously and we execute his advise with absolute perfection!

Yes. Bilkul ricks nai lene ka!

Exactly 8 days before today we said our good bye to that god forsaken year. 2020 was absolute…absolute shit. We had to give up on a lot of things which were a part of daily lives. And who in their right minds would have imagined that we would be locked in our homes and work from home (which people fancied for so long, would be a routine execution)

As we sat within the comfort of our homes, there were a few who put their lives on the line to make sure that the infrastructures that were there to provide round the clock support functioned.

They were our front line workers. The doctors, the nurses, the hospital administration and staff, the policemen, the entire workforce of the other essential services including free media (Oh doesn’t exist ?). Be they your local vendors who kept their grocery stores open so that you can stay safe in your homes while they cater to your grocery list, or the delivery people who handled the logistics of our needs or the hospital staff who stayed away from their families to avoid any spread of the virus.

Let us all take a moment to appreciate their selflessness and for keeping up the dignity of the oath that they swore to.

For students, teachers and employees of other corporate sectors and industries ranging across the Travel & Hospitality Sector, Manufacturing Sector, Production Sector, everything came to a halt. All the things that were needed to support the economy of any free country was seen in a bad shape with GDP’s falling drastically and as a result saw a surge in job losses.

After it became unbearable, for the economy to bleed, governments decided to partially open the service sectors so that we can kick start the vanquished economy with strict adherence to the WHO guidelines to be practiced on day to day basis.

People after spending some quality time with their families and following every Tik Tok trend and after sipping their delicious cup of freshly made Dalgona coffee, work resumed as “Work From Home” for a major chunk of the society.

Zoom and Google Meet became the two most used applications and software to comprehend and execute the day to day works of people across professions of teaching, planning and selling.

Things took time to adjust. Work from home for many in the initial stages looked like:

And when you have a toddler, things are a bit difficult to handle we assume!

With the predictions of work from home continuing till late 2021 or even 2022, people have eased out and got accustomed to their new lifestyle and undoubtedly are loving it.

Well, its over. The year is finally over and we have stepped into 2021 with great hopes and high expectations and we look forward to living this year with all the positivity and learning from the past year.

Hope is a luxury which is being capped at supply level. Lets not do something dumb this year to loose that too!
