Google Doesn’t Care if Content is AI? Ummm…That’s Not Correct

You can’t be much clearer than this:

Danny Sullivan, Google: “That’s not what we said.”

Sullivan said the guidance they put out on AI-generated content has been misinterpreted by many in the SEO community. Many took the guidance as AI content was fine as long as it was quality AI-generated content. But no.

Sullivan also expressed concerns about the quantity and scale of AI content, issuing a warning for those who are using AI to scale content generation dramatically. Search Engine Journal quotes Sullivan as saying, “Any method that you undertake to mass generate content, you should be carefully thinking about it.”

In fact, Sullivan also went on to say it doesn’t matter how you create the content, generating thousands of pages in a short period will be an issue for quality ratings.
