When the war ends, Ukrainians will face the task of reconstructing their country. And the IT industry will be one of the leaders in this matter. It will not require a highly developed infrastructure, office space, or large preliminary investments.

My today’s story touches upon the project, developed by the students of the Odesa Richelieu Lyceum with the help of the KeepSolid IT company. This case is an example of cooperation between IT businesses and educational institutions. This is also an example of how science-intensive Ukrainian businesses continue developing despite the ongoing war.

The case also reflects the role of the younger generation of Ukrainians in their homeland’s IT-sphere evolution. The joint work of schoolchildren and adults has its twists and turns, but it still works. Moreover, the guys are now doing their work at home, while one of the company’s mentors is working in Mykolaiv under the Russian army shelling.
