I posted a push-up challenge to my middle-aged 50+-year-old friends on January 19.

You’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish through the power of consistency. It’s truly your superpower. I began on December 28 and barely squeezed out 34 push-ups. But I committed to 100 consecutive days of push-ups, increasing my max number each week, and on day 97…

Can I pause here and encourage you to get started today? If you’re middle-aged and not proactive about good health, you don’t feel as good as you can. And your heart health is at risk if you can’t do ten push-ups today. You can start now by making better choices with diet and exercise, including daily push-ups. You will experience progress. I know because I did.

On day 97 of the push-up challenge, I did 65, a 91% increase!

Not bad for an old man.

I did 6702 push-ups in 100 days.
