Tip.cc Offers Stronghold SHx for Tipping in a Stellar-Issued Currency
Stronghold SHx is now available for tipping on Tip.cc, a tipbot on Discord with distribution to over 16,000 servers across 200,000 channels.
Though Tip.cc supports 228 currencies, SHx is its first currency issued on the Stellar blockchain. Most other of the tipbot’s currencies run the Ethereum blockchain, which has recently experienced congestion, transaction costs surging beyond $150, and settlements delayed up to ten minutes. In contrast, SHx settles in 3 to 5 seconds with transaction costs that are fractions of a penny.
The Stronghold community will be tipping members of the Stronghold Discord channel and other Tip.cc enabled servers and channels with the SHx currency, to introduce, encourage, and engage with more members of the unique crypto landscape. Also, Tip.cc will soon be launching on Telegram and Twitter, which will enable SHx tipping on those widely used communication channels.
This broad new reach and novel enablement aligns with Stronghold’s mission to create fast, secure, and accessible financial services for all.
