Infrastructure-as-a-Service technology company StrongNode.io CEO and Co-founder Daniel Saito attended as the guest on the StrongNode x Polygon Daily AMA episode. The AMA session happened on 28 October 2022 at the Polygon Daily group. Daniel answered questions from the group, from the Twitter audience, and from the live segment like future targets of StrongNode, development updates, and more.

Some of the StrongNode x Polygon Daily AMA highlights can be found below:

Who else are your targeted consumers? How do you market StrongNode to increase public awareness and mass adoption?

Daniel Saito: ANYONE with an internet connection and computer or mobile phone or basically any digital device can access the network. Common digital devices include your phone, PC, and laptop.

When we say computing resources, that would mean the idle resources such as CPU/GPU cycle, network bandwidth, and data storage from the common digital devices. We harness the power from idle devices and lends it to industries that need it the most.

StrongNode is a global project. We need to grow our userbase, larger userbase means larger digital footprint that we can offer. We wanted to keep the hurdle low so we can accept anyone with TCP/IP to make money.

I saw that you are trying to BLOCKCHAIN AGNOSTIC. What exactly do you mean by agnostic?

Daniel: The StrongNode platform is based on blockchain technology, which provides a decentralized infrastructure for our clients. However, StrongNode is working to become blockchain agnostic. We have built bridges to other chains as we stated as we are chain agnostic (although home is on Polygon). We have also set up dedicated baremetal servers globally that are not connected to traditional cloud (we actually don’t use cloud services in our infrastructure).

Our goal is to connect as many people on the network and create a nexus of compute and network resources.

When you said you’ll be taking idle computing power and paying in SNE tokens, dosent this put those with higher computing power at an unfair advantage, take for example those that have dedicated GPUs that were formerly used as mining rigs? or will there be limits and thresholds?

Daniel Saito: The overall goal of the project is to be able to grow our computing fabric around the world and help crush the digital divide.

ANYONE with an internet connection and computer or mobile phone or basically any digital device can access the network. We wanted to keep the hurdle low so we can accept anyone with TCP/IP to make money.

If you share your network resources, you get compensated in $SNE for the utilization for the said resources.
