Infrastructure-as-a-Service technology company StrongNode.io CEO and Co-founder Daniel Saito was the featured guest on the AMA episode with Crypto Hills. The AMA session happened on 20 October 2022 at the Crypto Hills Telegram channel. Daniel answered questions from the group, from the Twitter audience, and from the live segment like future targets of StrongNode, development updates, and more.

Some of the StrongNode x Crypto Hills AMA highlights can be found below:

Which blockchain do you plan to use and why?

Daniel Saito: The StrongNode platform is based on blockchain technology, which provides a decentralized infrastructure for our clients.

However, StrongNode is working to become blockchain agnostic. We have built bridges to other chains as we stated as we are chain agnostic (although home is on Polygon). We have also set up dedicated baremetal servers globally that are not connected to traditional cloud (we actually don’t use cloud services in our infrastructure).

Our goal is to connect as many people on the network and create a nexus of compute and network resources.

StrongNode resolves data challenges with the use of Edge computing architecture. Can you explain to us how exactly this Edge computing architecture functions in the ecosystem of StrongNode? How do this works for our data?

Daniel Saito: We are building the key infrastructure of Web 3.0 here at StrongNode.

There isn’t many IaaS players in this space on what we are trying to accomplish. Most Infrastructure players in this field offer RPC nodes or mining infrastructure. We are not that (although we do have private RPC nodes exclusively for $SNE hodlers). Yes, we will have a uphill battle with traditional cloud providers like AWS / GCP / Azure. But their cost structure is getting more expensive and the amount of data that is being emitted by digital devices in 2022 and beyond is only growing incrementally on a day to day basis.

So does the world need cheaper compute cycles? The answer would be: YES! 🙌

This is the state of the web and where we are going.

Web 1.0 — READ ONLY

Web 2.0 — READ / WRITE

Web 3.0 — OWNERSHIP

If Web 3.0 is about ownership, it’s about owning a piece and participating in becoming part of WEB 3.0. Here at StrongNode, we will work to enable you to own and participate becoming part the Internet.

What’s the first thing you would like people to think of when StrongNode is mentioned to them?

Daniel Saito: At StrongNode, we have a commitment in being a leader in the green tech market. We want to introduce the idea of GREEN MINING and we want to make “Computing for a Purpose” a reality. ♻️💚

We harness the power from idle devices and lends it to industries that need it the most. This enables businesses to not be reliant on centralized cloud services that are expensive and bad for the planet. While centralized cloud computing only gets more expensive and sucks up more energy as demand grows, $SNE does the opposite. More devices and industries connected to our network = more sources to harness power from. This means options for a lower cost and a greener approach. ♻️
