I had the pleasure of interviewing Adam Stewart. Adam is the founder and CEO of Dialzara.com, which leverages AI to answer incoming phone calls for businesses all over the world. Previously, Adam was COO at ProspectNow.com before its acquisition and also served as a Human Intelligence Collector in the National Guard.

Thank you so much for joining us!

What motivated you to launch your startup?

I knew from my experience running a sales team that missing calls from your customers is a huge pain point for businesses of all sizes. I had just left my last company when ChatGPT exploded on the scene, so I decided to try and build an AI agent that could pick up the phone and intelligently help callers.

What is it that excites you about what you’re building?

We’ve been able to build something really special that actually works. Our user feedback is overwhelmingly positive, and churn is low. And, the technology is only getting better.

What has been your biggest challenge when growing your startup?

Getting the word out. We’re investing a lot into organic search as the vehicle for hitting mass scale as more businesses are shifting from expensive traditional live answering services in favor of AI phone answering.

What are your future plans for your startup?

Releasing a mobile app in Q3 2024 along with continued international expansion.

If you had to share “words of wisdom” with a founder who’s about to start their own startup, what would they be?

Validate your idea as cheaply as possible before going all in. In my case, that meant me building the first version of Dialzara on a no-code tech stack and spending $200 on Facebook ads to see if people would pay for it. Once I had three customers, I hired professional developers to build a “real” app.

How can our readers follow you on social media?

The best place would be my LinkedIn profile.

This was very insightful. Thank you so much for joining us!
