STRYKZ token sale to be held on Stryking’s website on the 29th June 2018
The STRYKZ initial token sale is now scheduled to take place on the 29th June 2018 with the early access starting on 27th June, just in time for the knockout stages of the Football World Cup.
Stryking Entertainment had initially planned to launch the STRYKZ token sale on the Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange (GBX) GRID token sale platform. At Stryking, there has always been a strong desire to run a secure and fully compliant token sale.
These past weeks, Stryking & GBX have been working around the clock on the upcoming token sale. Unfortunately, it has come to both parties’ attention that, given the time frame to launch during the Football World Cup, there would not be enough time to bring all the necessary parts together for the token sale to happen on the GBX GRID.
As a result, Stryking Entertainment will exclusively conduct the initial token sale on their website.
“We originally planned to conduct our token sale on the GBX GRID, but circumstances are that this is currently not feasible within our time frame. The World Cup is the biggest event for our community and also the ideal timing to launch our public token sale event which we have been preparing in the last couple of months”, said Dirk Weyel, CEO of Stryking Entertainment.
Stryking Entertainment’s Football Stars platform has created a very engaged community of football fans and the world cup is also an important part of the token sale campaign.
Nick Cowan, CEO of GBX said “This comes down to best-practices and industry-standards. We all want to create the best possible space for the token economy as a whole. Unfortunately, in the case of the STRYKZ token sale, we didn’t have enough time to bring everything together and launch the token on the GRID in time for the World Cup.”
With this decision comes a benefit for Stryking to be able to accept FIAT as part of the contribution process during their token sale. With an engaged community that is potentially less familiar with crypto currency, this is an additional entry point for football fans who that want to take their experience on Football-Stars to the next level.
