Welcome back to another tutorial by Sttabot. In this article, we will learn how to remove the sidebar and any other Sttabot branding from your embedded Sttabot app on desktop devices.

When you integrate your Sttabot app with your own application, you may encounter the issue of how to hide the sidebars and extra Sttabot branding that are available on your app by default.

To resolve this issue, it’s important to understand that Sttabot works on different resolutions, including desktop (1920x1200), tablet (750x675), and mobile (375x660). Out of these three, the default resolution for embedding is set to mobile. This means you don’t have to do anything extra to fix your app when it’s displayed in the mobile view.

However, for other cases such as desktop, tablet, or custom sizes, you need to set the default screen resolution as 750x675, which is the tablet view. Here’s how you can do it:

Step 1: Generate the Embed Code

Go to your Sttabot app and generate the embed code, specifying the custom resolution as 750x675. Then, copy the code and go to the website or page where you want to embed your Sttabot application. In this example, we will be embedding the app in WordPress’ Elementor page builder.

Step 2: Paste the Code as Simple HTML

Paste the embed code of your AI app as simple HTML. This is a straightforward process that doesn’t require extensive customization. The background of the app will automatically optimize based on the background of your website. Following these steps should make your app work as intended.

Step 3: If the Issue Persists

In some rare cases, the sidebar may still be visible even after following the above steps. In such cases, you may need to set up additional margin or padding for your app’s container. You can watch a video tutorial for more details.

Conclusion

Embedding a white-labeled version of your Sttabot app with your core platform is simple. All you need to do is paste the correct code with the right height, width, and sometimes margin.

If you are new to Sttabot, it is a free platform used by over 2,000 users daily to build no-code AI apps. Try it out here.
