192.168.1.2 Modem Password Change

192.168.1.2 is the common IP address of some home modems. Some modems may be using a different IP address. This address allows users to enter the admin panel and make some settings.

You can change your modem password from the page you open by entering the default IP in the toolbar. If you want to change your Wi-Fi modem password, you can follow these steps if you have forgotten it:

• Make sure the device is connected to the modem.
• Open your internet browser (like Google Chrome). Clear the address bar above and write the address 192.168.1.2 in the blank field. You need to write it exactly the same way. Then press enter.
• Type the modem’s default password and username on the screen that appears. This is generally a predictable password as admin- admin. If you don’t know your password, you can find it in the title of modem passwords.
• There is a menu section at the top of the screen. From there, click on the installation part.
• After logging in, go to the wireless-wireless section and select the security section.
• Click the previously shared password section and check the show characters’ box.
• To change your password, type your new password in your previously shared password field and click the apply box. If you want to learn not to change, just close the tab without making any changes.

When you change your password on 192.168.1.2, the internet connection of the device may be lost. In this case, you must reconnect to the network with the new password.
