Today’s Students

What. A. Week. I am not going to write a rambling post about gun control and the NRA. I just can’t. We know what we have to do. I can not imagine being a kid in today’s world. Kids should be footloose and fancy free and in today’s society, in the USA, instead kids are having to participate in active shooter drills and are getting mowed down by AR-15s. It’s truly beyond the pale.

On Friday I went to Alexander Hamilton High School, on the Westside of Los Angeles, and I have to say I was a little twitchy — big school, lots of kids. But once I settled in and started to participate in the NFTE program, it was all good. What a great bunch of kids. So talented. Today’s news coverage gave me hope too. These kids are done with the gun B.S. I really have hope for tomorrow’s leaders and their ability to mobilize — I really think this could be the turning point — the tipping point — and it is going to be led by STUDENTS.

I have been spending a lot of time with young people. Cue Career just brought on 6 new interns — and I just love them. I love watching the videos they are creating for us. The Career Exploration videos are on the Cue Career website but we are also having them interview one another about their paths — and it is great.

In this video Aliyah(NYU) discusses entrepreneurship with Martin(LMU):

Pure Gold.

We are always bringing on more interns and promoting other internships.

Starting an EdTech company is hard — but it has never been more rewarding than it is in today’s climate, it is needed and we all have to find ways to support this generation of students. Gen Z.

Generation Z for the WIN!
