Two weeks ago, Student Success Agency launched a free virtual student support service called Support For All (S4A) to offer free college advising, academic tutoring, and at-home learning guidance. Middle and high school students in the US can text in to receive assistance from our S4A Team members, and we wanted to take a moment and introduce you to some of them. Each team member is also an agent at SSA and serves their own small group of students in addition to working with the ones who text in to the S4A program.

Clara attends The University of Texas at San Antonio, babysits, and works remotely at 3M and SSA. She has been an agent for 1.5 years! Her favorite social distancing activity is taking walks, and she likes to work from bed when she’s at home. She is a big help when students need help with college and scholarship advising, learning from home, and life advice because she’s awesome at gathering resources for them.

Skyler lives in Massachusetts and attends Westfield State University, where they just moved to an online learning format. Skyler has been an agent for 1.5 years. Her favorite social distancing activities include cooking, baking, composing music, and singing — until her dogs join in! She likes working from the kitchen table or the bed in her pjs. Skyler has spent the past three years learning how to tailor lessons to her students’ needs for her K-12 music teaching certification, so she can tutor in a variety of subjects, including English, history, music, and psychology! She also has experience winning essay contests and is proficient in Spanish.

Jacob works remotely as a program manager at the National Safety Council and is a Global Road Safety activist and consultant. He has been an agent for two years. His favorite social distancing activity is listening to music, and he likes to work from his living room. Jacob studied business administration, is an entrepreneur, and has experience with goal setting, so he can help students with English, college advising, SAT/ACT prep, and adjusting to learning from home.

Summer is a stay-at-home mom and works for SSA, and she has been an agent for 6 months. Her favorite social distancing activities are working out, watching Netflix or Disney+, and reading. She works from her living room at home because she likes being comfortable! Summer is a great resource for students adjusting to learning from home because she’s taken numerous online classes, so she can help students navigate their online learning platform and understand the work they’ve been assigned.

Amy attends the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine online from her home in Virginia. She has been an agent for 1.5 years. Her favorite social distancing activities are watching Netflix and painting. She works from her table at home because she would fall asleep if she worked from her bed! Amy got her bachelor’s in biology and is heading to medical school next year, so she’s happy to help students with biology. She also loves English and math and has been studying them for years.

Ashish lives in Washington DC and works as a software engineer at Capital One Financial. He has been an agent for two years. Nisha works full-time on the SSA admin team and has been with us for 4 years. Her favorite social distancing activity is working out at home. She taught herself how to work from home when she started at SSA, and she likes to work from her couch. Nisha’s parents didn’t go to college in the U.S., so she has personal experience with learning about the application process and scholarships. She can also help students with personal branding and creating a business plan.
