Tel Aviv University — While study abroad options in higher education are increasingly becoming popular among Indian students, the cost of study remains an area of concern for many. Tel Aviv University — UG & PG Programs with Scholarships

Under-graduate Programs

For under-graduate programs, the university offers financial aid depending on course fee and other expenses.

B.Sc. (Electrical and Electronics Engineering)

  • Program duration: 4 years
  • Tuition Fee: USD 4,550
  • Application deadline: August 31, 2019

Students can also benefit from the Industrial Affiliates Program (IAP) of TAU which provides them ample opportunities to network with some of the world’s largest Hi-tech companies during their graduation.

B.Sc. (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) aspirants must have one of the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 75% in the 12th boards, along with an All-India Rank higher than 20,000 in the JEE Mains.
  • Minimum of 85% in the 12th boards, along with an All-India Rank of between 20,001 and 40,000 in the JEE Mains.
  • A minimum of 85% in the 12th boards, with a minimum of 90% in math and 90% in physics, along with SAT or ACT score.

BA — Liberal Arts

  • Program duration: 3 Years
  • Tuition fee: USD 12,000 per year
  • Application Deadline: August 31, 2019
  • Eligibility: BA — Liberal Arts aspirants must have scored a minimum of 80% marks in class 12.

Tel Aviv University — PG Programs 2019

The university offers 15 different specialized Master’s programs where it covers both academic and non-academic expenses through scholarships. Here are the details of Master’s programs offered by Tel Aviv University.

Eligibility for Master’s Degree Programs

MA in Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Cultures

MPH in Emergency and Disaster Management

  • Applicants must have passed graduation with minimum 75% marks.
  • Priority will be given to candidates who hold positions in fields related to Emergency Management and National Security.

MA in Environmental Studies

Note: Candidates who have passed graduation with 75% to 80% marks may still apply. Admission will be granted based on merit.

MA in Global Migration and Policy

  • Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences or a related field.
  • Passed graduation with minimum 80% marks

  • Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Have secured a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 80 on a scale of 100 in bachelor’s course

MSc in Medical Sciences

  • Applicants must be graduates with a degree in Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, Exact Sciences, Medical Sciences (B.Med.Sc.), Pharmacology, Agriculture, Communication Disorders, Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy OR have secured an MD, DMD or DVM degree.
  • Must have scored at least a GPA of 80 on a scale of 100 in bachelor’s course

Ph.D. and Post — Doctoral Programs at Tel Aviv University

Tel Aviv University also offers Ph.D. programs in various disciplines like Particle Physics, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Fiber Optics, the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. These programs are taught in English language in view of study abroad aspirants joining the program from across the world.

Scholarship Awards for Tel Aviv University Programs

Selected students under this scholarship program will be awarded with scholarships of up to 80% of their tuition and accommodation fees for master’s degree courses. For students selected for under-graduate program at the university, there is a provision of financial aid up to USD 10,000 towards their academic expenses at the BSc program vs. previous years.

Tel Aviv University is accepting applications for these scholarship programs via their online admission platform. Students who wish to study in Israel at the Tel Aviv University must apply before August 31, 2019.
