Books! Books. Books!! BOOKS!!!

If you’re anything like me, your house is overrun with them, and your bookcases are literally at risk of falling under their weight. But how does the book-culling advice from Tidier-in-Chief Marie Kondo stack up against the real-life book collection of two writers?

In Episode 4 of Stuff Dot Life, I go through our bookshelves with my husband, newsman/poet/English major Warren Levinson. I also ask fellows at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts how they feel about their books getting thrown out or recycled, and talk about the legendary book feud between Paul Theroux and V.S. Naipal.

With Charles Fishman, Charlie Graeber, Dolores Johnson, Eric Sasson and Kelley Swain. Music from Blue Dot Sessions and Vampire Weekend, and a little hat tip to Prairie Home Companion.
