Stupid Poetry

How not to do it AKA can’t be bothered

Piles of dust
Washing overflowing
Floor needs mopping
Could do with vacuuming

Hoover leans idly in a cupboard
The washing machine stays silent
Duster is missing
I’ll leave it till tomorrow

Or the next day
The dust will return
It always does
One of life’s certainties
