YouTube is the future of video streaming. We all know that. And don’t even get me started on YouTubers. YouTube stars aren’t just popular: they are genuinely influential figures for their fans. From PewDiepPie to Superwoman to Zoella, we have laughed, cried and watched our favourite YouTubers reach heights. But most of us only discover them after they have reached a certain level of fame. I mean, how many of us have followed You Tubers from their very first steps? From our ventures with Stuture, we met one the coolest guys on Earth, (like seriously he has been chased by lions!) and followed his YouTube journey from the very beginning. Dan Ram.

Dan came to Ireland as a diplomat’s son. He did his MBA in Trinity College Dublin and decided to try out new things in his life. He’s an entrepreneur, a musician, business advisor and so much more. We also discovered that he loves to try out new things. A jack of many trades as we call him. That’s how he started his YouTube journey.

Dan Ram speaks exceptionally fast but with great confidence. In his chat with him, he was telling us how he had given talks to investors and high schoolers about subjects he had no clue on. What he does to prepare was what most of us do, he Googles it. Dan gives us a greater insight into this in his first YouTube video series, “Fake it till you Make it”. And the cool part is, we got to be a part of it! We joined him and his camera crew in the deserted part of The Liquor Rooms, a Dublin Bar with 80s style setting and a stuffed bear. During his video, he had a Dan Ram moment where he introduced us, the Stuture crew. We were overwhelmed by his response to our work, where he found us “encouraging, working during the summer while we could be sleeping in, playing video games..”. It was a humbling moment for us to be praised by such a great entrepreneur. Watching him, we knew he would become a great YouTuber one day. He has got the personality, the comedy and the radio jockey in him pops out from time to time.

In his own words, Dan has tweeted:

Dan truly inspired us to explore all parts of life. It maybe something we have no experience on but we won’t learn unless we try. We won’t succeed until we learn.
