Em..(Cough)…So, what is Stuture?
Student Future or Stuture as we call it is a network connecting students to start ups and SMEs (small or medium sized businesses) in order to gain work experience in preparation for the world of work. We want to provide a platform where students can contact interested businesses and access work experience in an easier fashion.
Why did it start?
Work experience is hard to find. We know that and you probably do too. Those empty promises from HR departments, “phone calls” that never come through, and your poor aching legs after walking to those dreaded interviews.
However for us, everything changed when we met Daniel Paul, THE entrepreneur that opened a new door of opportunity for us.
Daniel’s plan for our two weeks of experience was just that, EXPEREINCE. We were introduced to a whole new world of business and technology. We were able to meet founders of various start ups who have flourished & failed. We played around with cool tech stuff and we are on our way to making our own website. An act we never even dreamed of.
So, why Stuture?
Finding work experience will definitely be easier with Stuture, that’s why!
There are no websites out there that mainly focus on helping students find work experience. You’d have to go to several shops with CVs but with Stuture, it’s only just a click away and in the COMFORT OF YOUR BED. How awesome is that!
Who is involved?
Our lovely team consists of four teenagers, one smart, one pretty smart, one smarter than the smart one, one way smart for us to handle! We are just trying to make your lives a tad bit easier.
What’s our main aim?
Our aim is to have a website that compiles all information students need on the world of start ups and smaller enterprises. We also want to be the main network connecting students to enterprises. Soon we shall take over the world!! NO JUST KIDDING.
What to expect?
The future of Stuture is looking bright with clear skies and no chance of rain!
First of all we will start off with posts on start ups and as we grow you can expect a wider range of information from not only start ups but also bigger enterprises and work opportunities. Along with that, we will have contacts of cool businesses compiled in one space. So your student life will be made easier in the future (that’s where Stuture comes from fellows.)
