Five Ways to Rock a 90s Look
Lately, trends from the 90s have been coming back in style and I’m not mad about it. In this blog post, I’ll show you a few ways you can rock a 90s look.
PAIR A GRAPHIC TEE WITH YOUR MOM JEANS
The first way is the classic graphic t-shirt paired with high-waisted mom jeans. This is a match made in heaven because you are able to come up with as many combos as you like. Add more of a 90s touch with a choker.
ADD A BOMBER JACKET TO YOUR LOOK
Another way is to rock a 90s look is with bomber jackets. Bombers were also popular in the 80s so you can attain an even more vintage look with the jacket. If you don’t have a bomber jacket, you can also use an oversized button down and roll up the cuffs.
ROCK SOME JOGGERS
My personal favorite item huge in the 90s are joggers. I am in love with joggers because of how comfortable they are and that everyone can rock them! Joggers were especially popular with hip hop artists. They come in several different patterns and colors so you can wear any top you want with them.
BRING OUT THE FLANNEL
In addition to the joggers, flannels tied around the waist was a big trend and still is. Flannels and joggers also pair well together and are a great nod to the 90s. This look is easily attainable. Another way to style the flannel is by wearing it as intended and rolling up the sleeves.
HAVE FUN WITH OVERALLS
Finally, for the fall season, I highly recommend overalls. They were so popular in the 90s and you are able to wear them with whatever you want. I love the flexibility because it allows everyone to be creative. To make it more obvious that you are going for a retro look, you can wear a graphic tee under or wear a flannel around your waist. And you can wear the overalls different ways too! You can wear both straps down or just one while the other hangs down.
