The question is, why does evil exist, does it specifically mean to be something? As a Catholic, I believe God isn’t the one who created evil but, God allows the absence of evil. Evil exists in our world because of us humans. God allows us to have full humanity and solely puts us in this world with the choices we make. So, evil is just the absence of good, the choices we humans make in this world.

So why does this evil kind of act exist? There is a wide range of answers either if you are or aren’t catholic, atheist, Buddhist, etc. But traditionally as I am catholic, understanding what he teaches us, in choosing between good or evil. Without the choices of evil, it would just make the choices of good meaningless, and no point in us being here. Living in this world, there will always be choices like this because of humanity in making moral decisions. One of the main reasons evil existing is because of this being free will. According to the Christian Broadcasting Network, evil is to refuse to love and resist life's movement. Also, mentioning that we are all broken people in which is very true. Becoming evil or the choice of not being good is I think is just like the feeling of hatred, greed, and judgment.

To conclude, everything in this world is about choices. Since we all live in this world of free will, some will choose to be on the side without the presence of good in which we call evil. Knowing God simply didn’t create the world with evil in it but us humans in being a part of it.
