Some of you were in New York at NFT.NYC conference, but many didn’t have a chance to see one of the biggest events in the crypto space. In this article, we will talk about the general feel and the way the investors are approaching the bear market.

@vikingturtlee at the conference

The Subpad founder was there — the biggest takeaway was the scale of the event — there were over 300 000 people daily visiting Times Square and the spots of NYC.NFT conference. There were over 150 side events and most of them were very productive in terms of networking and business development — you could easily meet people who are founders of crypto projects or BAYC or Cryptopunk owners.

The best of the side events were the small ones — due to the more relaxed atmosphere and the possibility to talk more freely with the investors.

Something surprising?

There were many surprising things — many people being millionaires didn’t dress in fancy clothes and there was a person giving away joints for the likes on their Instagram. Yet the most interesting thing was to find out that the bear market is not stopping people from creative development in the web3 space. We are part of the revolution which is not going to be stopped easily!

Best projects in town

Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) hosted the ApeFest with appearances of rappers Eminem and Snoop Dogg, who also premiered a music video featuring their BAYC avatars; Sandbox had a whole floor; Madonna announced her Finally Enough Love remix digitally abridged version album — and enters NFT stage. No comments — the whole thing speaks for itself!
