SUBSCAN| Aggregate Substrate ecological network High-precision Web3 explorer

We are very excited to announce that we released XCM-related functions last month, which already support multiple XCM-related modules and adapt to the custom structure of different parachains. The XCM-related functions can be summarized as XCM dashboard, XCM message, XCM transfer and XCM channel. Currently, these functions have been applied to Polkadot, Kusama and Westend networks and their parachains, welcome to use and give feedback!

Subscan provides a visual dashboard to display the basic data and status of XCM. As a user, you can easily see which parachains have opened status channels and which status channels are popular and widely used. Of course, you can also get an overview of the Substrate ecosystem Connection Status! In addition, we also provide 30-day XCM transfer statistics, as well as latest XCM transfers data for enthusiasts to view.

XCM Dashboard

Subscan associates cross-chain progress of different chain through XCM Hash, which including the cross-chain message between parachain and parachain(HRMP), and cross-chain message between parachain and relay chain.

Subscan supports displaying XCM messages in list and detail page. The XCM list is used for batch display and data filtering, and the detail page is used for display the cross chain progress and the original parameters (Instructions) of specific message.

XCM Transfer is a special type of XCM Message, which is related to token transfer. It is the most concerned data for users, therefore, based on the basic analysis of XCM message, we have added in- depth analysis of token symbol, token decimal, transfer value and destination.

According to on-chain rules, XCMP queues must be initiated by first opening a channel between two parachains. The channel is identified by both the sender and recipient parachains, meaning that it’s a one-way channel.

Subscan has deep support for HRMP Channels, and users can overview and filter through the HRMP Channel list. Subscan supports viewing the details of a specific channel as well, such as the channel direction (from which parachain to which parachain) , sovereign account, active time, channel status, and historical transactions, etc.
