DUBMONK

With an ear for bass weight and a passion for sound, Dub Monk (Dan White) is a Leeds based DJ aspiring to populate the airwaves with low end frequencies one blend at a time.

Starting at the age of 18 I was exposed to sound system music and culture fairly late in the scheme of the dubstep “movement”, since then I have watched a scene grown and thrive in an environment which predicted its downfall. This is only one of the many things that inspires me to be a part of this diverse and ever-growing culture. With guest appearances on Frequency FM and Clouwd Nine Radio, it has given me the chance to showcase my passion for sound which I hope to continue to share with others in years to come. In addition to this I have had the opportunity to be a part of Untitled, a bass music collective from Preston, UK has guided me into different aspects of underground music and culture setting some sturdy foundations for a future to be built upon.
