Love Saves The Day 2016 — Sunday

Love Saves The Day

Sunday 29th May

The best thing after the suitably eclectic Saturday lineup at Love Saves The Day is the fact that there is another equally as eclectic day of music and fun the very next day and you can do it all over again and the Sunday line up certainly looks unstoppable.

Main Stage

Grime kingpin and bonafide UK legend Dizzee Rascal headlines the Sunday night in a long awaited return to Bristol. With hit after hit from earlier material like the evergreen I Luv You and Jus A Rascal to the chart conquering Bonkers and Holiday, there is something for everyone here and will be a perfect end to a brilliant weekend of live music and having recently performed the entirety of his genre defining debut album Boy In Da Corner in full in New York, could he repeat this to the welcoming patrons of Love Saves The Day? Here’s hoping he does! In direct support to the headliner is grimes next in line Stormzy, after a showstopping performance at last years LSTD, the Wicked Skengman is back and with a new album forthcoming it’s safe to say that he’ll take no prisoners. Also on the main stage French trip hoppers Chinese Man will be bringing their spaced out vibes to Bristol while the legend that is David Rodigan will be giving everyone some Signal in his trademark way. Add to this a Nightmares On Wax DJ set, the feel good Hot 8 Brass Band, Laid Blaks urban reggae sounds and Rhythm Of The 90s Classic dance covers and it’s fair to say you’ve got all bases covered.
