We are thrilled to announce that our most significant SDK update has arrived: the ArrowSquid release!

Real-time data streams: Indexing of unfinalized blocks, enabling sub-second latencies for dApps.

🔍 Trace data: EVM traces, transaction execution receipts, state diffs. Enjoy significantly more fine-grained smart contract state data.

⬆️ Boosted uptime: The ArrowSquid release is Subsquid’s first major step toward decentralization and full data provision redundancy — the indexing ‘work’ is now done by ‘worker’ nodes.

We are rolling out ArrowSquid a few chains at a time, and the release is now available on Ethereum Mainnet, BNB Chain, and Moonbeam Network.

If you are running a squid on one of these chains, we highly recommend migrating. To do so, please follow the instructions at this link. If you are interested in trying ArrowSquid on another chain, fill out this form and we will get back to you promptly.

Reminder: We support 100+ chains with our previous FireSquid release. We very likely support your chain. You can get started by reading our docs.

How to get started

You can already get started with the release by visiting our documentation. This initial release is only available on Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Moonbeam, but we are quickly adding additional networks.

All of the features of our previous release (FireSquid) remain live for all support networks. If your network is still not supported by ArrowSquid, we highly encourage you to start building on FireSquid. Migration later will not be difficult.

We’re here to help

If you require any support or have any questions about the ArrowSquid release, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us on Discord or by email. We want to make sure that this transition goes as smoothly for you and your team as possible, and our support and integrations teams are both on-hand to make things easier.
