We hope that all students, educators and solution providers of the world will be using these stories and our online platform to create a community for ideation, collaboration and innovation together.
Our Story
For years we felt alone, we thought that because we were facing these struggles there was something wrong with us. This isolation made us feel that success wasn’t possible, that the system did not want us to achieve. It was not until we heard the stories of others, that we realized that we were not alone. Seeing others succeed, illuminated a path that we could follow. But had we not heard such stories, we would be still stuck in the darkness.
This is exactly what we want to do with successability, we want to bring the stories to the individuals to lighten their path. We feel that too many students and educators are unable to access the stories, there are often inaccessible to many — we want to make these stories accessible to anyone, and have them relatable to a wide spectrum of issues that individuals face in our modern education climate. Further, we want to highlight the tools that individuals have used to attain success. These tools will become the solutions to a struggling education system that many are tirelessly trying to fix. Instead of trying to propose our own ideas, we want to highlight the efforts that already exist. In doing so, we want to bring together, those seeking answers, and those who can provide answers. These problems are intended to look like marginalization, exclusion, affordability, along with a host of other issues. While our answers are not only the articles themselves but programs that allow people to succeed. This can look like: technology companies, non-profits, homemade solutions, government programs, just to name a few. Regardless, we want to give a space for individuals in the space to come together as a community ready to make effective change. Bringing stories to these individuals will illuminate the path for those who are experiencing troubles now, and solve the obstacles for generations to come.
One day we see students, teachers, and decision makers, accessing these stories to learn about the common thread of of challenges that people have faced, and how they have overcome them. This will create a community where those who have developed solutions and those who are seeking solutions will come together to ideate, collaborate, and we hope that all students, educators and solution providers of the world will be using these stories and our online platform to create a community for ideation, collaboration and innovation together.
