There are very few companies on the planet that have a very small team, focussing on the products that would mean something in the future. At Skcript, we believe that making the world future ready now, is important. We’re doing just that every single day of the year.

Skcript is about pushing the envelope to do the best possible. And that’s different from any other company on the planet.

All of our employees are crazy. They’re crazy and they’d go to any extent to get what they want. They don’t come to Skcript to work. They come to Skcript everyday to make a difference.

The only reason you’ll be at Skcript or you’ll be hired is only because you’re already at the top of the field or you really have that potential in you to be at the top of the field.

Power of small teams

Over the years, we have been questioned about the number of people working at the company, and why the count is so low. We strongly believe in the power of small teams. Small teams can do great things, and we are a living proof of that belief.

It doesn’t matter how many people are in the room discussing about the products you want to make! We believe that if you have the right people in the room, with the notion of “Let’s do something insanely great.”, then brilliant things can definitely happen.

Thinking Process

There’s a saying at Skcript, “Thinking outside the box is really funny. Because we don’t even think about the box.”

When we sit down to do something, we don’t start by saying what someone else are doing, instead we just start off completely new. Our team has the crazy ability to bend their minds to make it believe that there is nothing on the planet that’s already existing related to the current idea.

“It’s always about saying what the best it possibly could be.”

This is very important and is in the DNA of Skcript, since the products that we work on, are for the future. These products does not have a shape or any document that will definite how or what it could be.

Iterations

There has never been a case at Skcript where we stopped off with one single iteration. We’re always refining refining and refining until we run out of time.

“There is no such thing as good enough. There’s always the best.”

There were situations where a product of ours went through 37 iterations before the Alpha build was out to the testers. We know. It’s crazy, but we love it.

Collaboration

One of the most unique thing about Skcript is the freedom it gives for the rebels in the company. If there’s something that you want do, and if you think it’s going to make a difference in the future, then you fight for it everyday in a war room. Because everyone in the company is the CEO of their own product. They own it, grow it and refine it, and the rest of the team comes together to put in crazy ideas to bring it to life.

Developing Expertise

We understand that every technology has its own learning curve. But we believe, for our team members and hires, that curve could be very less, with the design methodologies and process that you’d follow here. When we sit down to create a new product, for the future, we learn things that we never thought we will learn in our lifetimes.

The tremendous amount of work by small teams at Skcript defines everything. Through the course of any product, they become genuine experts in fields they’ve never explored before. And that has always been true in many cases and it always will be.

Problem Solvers

We have been fortunate enough to be rebels at heart. Every single person at Skcript is a problem solver, who is ready to take up any challenge at anytime. Skcript is a passion driven company, and we love taking up challenges every day of every year.

Really, nothing prevents the team from moving forward.

There’s so much work is put into everything. Be it a product or designing our workspace or an email.

“The hardwork ethic is important”

When we bring out products, the consumers will never know the amount of hardwork that went in into the product. But they will definitely feel that its worth it.

So

Working at Skcript, is not going to be easy. It’s going to put you through rough roads, and its up to you to adopt to it, or change the road yourself. One has to be really flexible and adaptable to work at Skcript. Those who work here, are always ready to take up challenges other people think are crazy.

The best part about working at Skcript is the feeling that what you brought to the table is going to affect millions of lives in the future. And believe us, that feeling is something that will last for the lifetime.

One more thing

There are lot of places where you can find happiness in working. But work, when structured right, is one of the few places where you’ll find meaning. And what Skcript gives its employees is the opportunity to do insanely great things that matter.
