Submit Your Story to the Sugar-Free-Zone

If you would like us to consider your article please read and follow the submission guidelines.

We want to publish:

  • articles about a sugar-free lifestyle.
  • articles about diet, fitness, food, and health.
  • personal stories about your struggles, failures and successes.

We will NOT publish:

  • fiction, short-stories, poetry.
  • articles filled with grammatical errors.
  • writing that does not meet Medium Curation Guidelines
  • writing that promotes unhealthy health habits.
  • articles that have been previously published.

IF you have an article that is currently published elsewhere … AND, it s the perfect fit … we’ll consider it. Submit it, along with the link to where it is published.

How To Become a Contributor:

  1. Send the link to your article draft.
  2. In your subject header include: “Submission to SFZ”

We will do our best to respond within 3–4 days.

Once you have been added to our writer’s list, you will be able to submit additional articles from your Medium Submission Panel.

Here are some guidelines and samples of the types of articles we will consider:


In this section we are looking for articles about the various low-carbohydrate diets. Keto, low-carb Paleo, Atkins, THM, Mediterranean, Fat Belly, Fasting and more.


In the FITNESS section we are looking for inspiring how-to’s as well as science-based facts about exercise programs. We are looking for your struggles, challenges and successes.


How, What, When and Where … living a sugar-free lifestyle that works. How do you maintain sugar-free while traveling or at work. What are your challenges and solutions?


We LOVE eating, love good food …and want to know all about it. From green tea to kombucha, from glucomannan to cucumbers. Let us know what you eat and why. We are also open to your sugar-free recipes … but only if you have a photo and easy to follow instructions!


In the HEALTH section we are looking for stories about health challenges … diabetes, high blood pressure and food related illnesses.
