Happy hump day — I guess. Let’s face it — it’s been a terrible couple of weeks in this country. Last week in Atlanta, Robert Aaron Long went to three Asian spas and open fired, killing eight people, including seven women.

This week in Boulder, Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa went to a grocery store and gunned down ten people, including a police officer.

What connects these two tragedies? Both men were suffering terribly. I’m not trying to justify what they did — I’m just trying to understand.

Long had been in a Christian rehab program for his sex addiction, which clearly made him despise not only himself but the women he saw as “tempting” him for sex. The targets of his rage were the women working at the same massage parlors he had frequented to purchase sexual services.

Alissa, the Boulder gunman, had a history of mental illness. He had been bullied for being Muslim and had a temper, which isolated him. He was very alone in the world — and he reacted to this, violently.

You’ll often hear me calling for an end to the stigma surrounding sex work. I think we also need to end the stigma surrounding men seeking psychological help.

And there just needs to be more help — more outreach, more services, more aid for men who are suffering emotionally.

Because, unfortunately, men seem to express their depression through rage by lashing out against innocent people. It’s all very sad.

I haven’t dug into the Boulder shooting as much as I have the Atlanta one. That massacre hit close to home for me because Long targeted sex workers.

The first article I wrote about the Atlanta shooting is: When Men Resent the “Temptation” of Sex Workers, Women Die.

The second article is: Is the Atlanta Mass Shooter Suspect an Incel? In this piece, I discuss how I believe Robert Aaron Long isn’t an involuntary celibate but a voluntary one. But it still proved just as deadly.

Yes, this is a real photo of me!

A photo of me on my bed, writing on my new Mac.

Moving on to lighter topics, I recently wrote: If You Think You’re Going to Make a Ton of Money on OnlyFans, You’re Probably Wrong.

Sure, I paint a pretty grim picture of the reality of earning a serious living on OnlyFans. But writing this article also sparked an idea in me.

I’ve been wanting to open up more, to show more of myself to my readers. I’ve been hiding behind a stock photo and a pseudonym for over a year now. I have many pseudonyms, I’m sad to say. The world is a judgmental place. But I also feel the need to start opening up more about who I really am.

So I’ve decided to start a new OnlyFans related to this account. https://onlyfans.com/sexworkerwriter

I will be uploading content showing off more of the body attached to the mind that creates the words you see on this blog. This isn’t going to be a glossy account. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at me.

But it will get sexy and maybe even kinky. I’m not sure yet. The pandemic has squeezed so much of my kinkiness right out of me because it’s basically brought my business as an escort to a standstill.

But I feel the need to reconnect to my sexual energy again. And I hope you will join me in doing that. I’m charging $15.99/month (or $35.98 for 3 months) to see photos of me in both lingerie and in the flesh! (Yup, that means naked.)

Included in that price is the chance to text with me to ask me questions about my work and to get advice about any sex and relationship issues you might have.

If you’re not interested in seeing my sexy bod and just want to ask me questions, you may also connect with me on Ko-fi. For the price of a coffee, you may ask me a question or two. For the price of a few coffees, you will enjoy my undivided attention a lot longer.

Time — I’d like to share more of my time with you. I definitely appreciate the time you share with me to read my work. I’m not lying when I say it means the world to me that you read me at all.

Take care, and I hope the next time I contact you will be a happier one.

Oh, and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter and Instagram. I’m going to be interacting much more with my followers there as well.

That’s all for now. A candied kiss from Mysterious…
