Summary of our first AMA from Thursday 21st of February 2019
First of all let us thank everyone who attended the AMA for making time and continuing to give us your support! We will keep this post as short as possible to avoid the TL;DR situation :) Hence we are summarising the main points in 5 areas below:

2. Strategy
The whole idea why we have developed the Sugi Card is to lower the barriers to enter crypto and other blockchain-based services. We want to help people use crypto every day like they use cash or cards. Our strategy is to evolve from a hardware wallet provider to an ecosystem that allows users to hold and spend digital fiat currencies, including co-branded cards with one of the incumbent schemes. This will enable full connectivity with the already deployed payments infrastructure.
3. Development update
We used the delay in cards delivery to work heavily on our mobile application, automate key recovery services and polish our back-end. Below is a selection of screenshots of the Sugi app to be released on Google Play.
4. Order status
In spite of significant efforts on our side, we are still unable to give a firm date for the delivery of our Sugi Cards. We are working towards shipping the cards in March but caution on the possibility that cards will only be shipped in April, as we still do not have a firm date from our manufacturer. We will keep you updated regarding all developments in this area.
5. Referral program
We are currently investigating the possibility to allow you to reclaim 100% of the purchase price of your Sugi card back by participating in our referral program. Each wallet will come pre-loaded with Sugi “tokens” that you can share with your friends via email, SMS and other popular chat apps. No blockchain wallet required for your friends to receive a link with their discount code. Sending one Sugi “token” to any of your friends will enable them to purchase their Sugi Card at a discounted price. For every referral that results in a sale, we will refund you with 20% of your original purchase. This will be a limited time offer and percentages will decrease with time.
