Sumeru Ventures will be at BMOE Bootcamp Program from 19–23 August, 2019
The Pantas and Ting Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology is hosting Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship Bootcamp (BMoE), an intense 5 day venture workshop held at UC Berkeley from 19 to 23 August, 2019.
The bootcamp facilitates immersive learning for new venture creation. This workshop offers a one-of-a-kind experience in one of the premier institutions in Silicon Valley. During the program, participants will attend sessions that weave together lectures and interactive game-based exercises, receive one-on-one mentoring from Sutardja Center faculty and industry experts; and learn in a collaborative environment.
Our Managing Partner, Saumen Chakraborty is a guest speaker and judging the bootcamp’s final venture presentations. He will be sharing some valuable lessons about the importance of trust, ethics and larger goal in businesses and entrepreneur’s life.
“We are thrilled to have an entrepreneurial luminary like Saumen Chakroborty share his valuable insights with our students for successful ventures that impact the world in an ethical manner” says Gigi Wang, Chair of Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship Bootcamp.
We at Sumeru Ventures believe that trust and ethics remain the backbone of business. To succeed in business for a sustainable globalised economy, we need to focus on changing people’s attitudes from, ‘what I can take’ to, ‘what I can give’. If everyone thinks in terms of how I can contribute to the global economy, rather than how can I snatch from the global economy the scenario changes completely. In this way, instead of draining resources we contribute to a sustainable growth.
