Summa partners with the Interchain Foundation (ICF) to build cross-chain architecture for the Cosmos ecosystem and Cosmos-SDK

We’re excited to announce that Summa has partnered with the Interchain Foundation (ICF) to bring cross-chain communication libraries to the Cosmos ecosystem. The new Golang and JavaScript versions of bitcoin-spv enable developers using the Cosmos SDK or Lotion to easily integrate lightweight Bitcoin transaction parsing and validation logic.

This project lays the groundwork necessary for communication between Bitcoin, the Cosmos ecosystem, and other decentralized systems. The new libraries are critical infrastructure for cross-chain trades, tokenized assets, DeFi, and many other applications. Authenticated Bitcoin information empowers developers to design and build their own smart contracts.

Going forward, Summa will continue to build efficient and reliable cross-chain communication between Bitcoin and the Cosmos ecosystem. We are excited to continue working with the Interchain Foundation to further expand cross-chain architecture and would love to hear your thoughts.

We welcome outside contributions for these tools and love collaborating with teams building on our work. If you are interested, please reach out to us on Twitter or by email at team@summa.one.

Finally, as part of our mission to further cross-chain interoperability throughout the blockchain ecosystem, we invite anyone working on cross-chain development to explore our working group, Cross-Chain Group.

Summa provides cross-chain architecture and interoperability as a service solutions. We work actively with Ethereum (EIP-152), Keep, The Electric Coin Company (ZIP-221), and the Zcash Foundation. Our investors include Polychain Capital, INBlockchain, and Kilowatt Capital.
