Spoke with Mal today, who is Ethiopian and moved to the States as a child, about identity struggles in other cultures. While our stories are different, we related to each other on many levels in terms of being “between” two cultures. Ideas about how to be an immigrant in America arose. However, I don’t want to do the cliche and tell my adoption story like no one has heard it.

Ideas surrounding adoption and Chinese identity:
-Being an immigrant in America
-Being a Chinese Adoptee in America
-Searching for Birth Parents
-Nature VS. Nurture (specifically in Asian adoption)

Other Ideas
-Financial Literacy
-Murder Mystery
-International Mystery
-Undercover Cases
-Cold Cases
